Unique deck feature

Austimber worked with the landscape architects (TBLD) and Parks Victoria to select toimber species and decking profiles prior to tendering for construction.

Austimber did a take-off of required lengths, cut all timber to length for minimum waste and then kiln dried the Grey Ironbark months in advance to it being required on site.

Once the contract was let, we also liaised with the construction contractor to double check all measurements.

Timber was the machined fresh only the week before needed on site!

All timber was then packed and labelled for each different deck section, sub-deck, etc. and delivered direct from our Box Hill (Sydney) yard to Apollo Bay ready for immediate installation  –  keeping both, site damage and handling on site to a minimum.
