Waverton Residence

With it's distinctive design nestled amongst the Angophora trees at Waverton (near North Sydney), this residence has become known as the "Angophora House" and won the 2013 MBA award for "Best Use Of Timber".

Making good use of the sloping site and available light, the designers have created a truly remarkable building.
Retractable external walls open the living areas out onto the perimeter deck giving a very spacious and 'airy' feel as can be seen in the photos below.

Tallowwood is prominent as the timber cladding used for the wave ceiling, T&G flooring, wall lining, decking and pergola shade screen.
